Crapolla is a natural fjord where time has stood still. The fjord Crapolla, an ancient fishing port, is 45 minutes from both St. By Agatha Twist. As you go down in the shade of the characteristic vegetation of chestnut and olive trees there is a small lookout from which you can see the three small islands and islets of the Gauls, and Isca Vetara. From here begins the walk of nearly 700 steps in limestone rather ageDopo about 20 minutes walk among the trees of myrtle and mastic you reach the chapel of San Pietro, built on the ruins of an ancient abbey of the eleventh century.
On the other side, however, stands the ancient watchtower of Crapolla, built in the viceregal period to face the assaults of the Saracens. Near the chapel is a path that winds to cross the fjord and majestic reach the tower from the top of which you can admire a beautiful but challenging panorama.vole for the descent to the ascent.

Dell'originaria Abbazia di San Pietro non resta che una cappella votiva intitolata allo stesso Santo, costruita con le stesse pietre dell'antico edificio.
